From January, the price gradually increases until it reaches a peak from April to the beginning of May.

Strawberries in Pregnancy

Strawberries are not only allowed to be eaten during pregnancy, they are also encouraged. They contain a lot of vitamin C, which allows the body to better absorb iron when presented at the end of a meal.

Besides helping to prevent cardiovascular diseases, it also alleviates the symptoms associated with menstruation. Women suffering from iron deficiency (anaemia) should eat more strawberries because they are rich in iron.
