Privacy notice for affiliates and sample requests

This notice, provided under Arts. 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), concerns people who take part in the Minnelea affiliate program, people who request a free sample, and visitors who reach the site through an affiliate's link. For everything else, the site's Privacy Policy applies.

What data we process
- Joining the program: name, email, links to your profiles or website, the sales credited to your link and the commissions earned.
- Payments: IBAN or PayPal address; for Italian residents also tax code and address, needed for the receipt and withholding tax.
- Sample requests: the form data (name, email, platform, link, followers, site visits, country, content idea) and, only if the request is accepted, the shipping address.
- Visitors arriving from an affiliate link: an identifier of the link and the date of the visit, stored in an affiliate cookie only if you consented through the banner. Details in the Cookie Policy.
Why we process it and on what legal basis
- Running the program, crediting sales and paying commissions: performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Applying withholding tax, issuing tax certificates and keeping tax records: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c).
- Assessing a sample request and shipping the sample: pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6.1.b).
- Preventing abuse, such as purchases made through one's own link: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).
- Crediting a visit to the affiliate's link: consent given through the cookie banner (Art. 6.1.a).
Program and form data are required: without them we cannot register you, pay you or assess your request.
Who we share it with
- GoAffPro, the platform that runs the program, which processes the data on our behalf.
- Shopify, which hosts the site and receives the sample request form.
- Our bank or PayPal for payments, our accountant for tax obligations, the courier for shipping samples.
We do not sell your data and do not use it to send you advertising unless you ask us to.
Transfers outside the European Union
GoAffPro is based in India and Shopify also operates outside the European Union. For these transfers we rely on the safeguards provided by Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards by writing to info@minnelea.com.
How long we keep it
- Program data: for as long as you take part and up to 12 months after you leave.
- Receipts, invoices and tax records: 10 years, as required by law.
- Sample requests not accepted: 12 months from our reply.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest, by writing to info@minnelea.com. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time from the Cookie Policy. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority of the country where you live.
