There is only one reason to choose a gourmet Christmas hamper: whoever receives it should understand, as they open the box, that it wasn't picked up in a hurry. The number of items doesn't make the difference. What's inside the jars does.

Our preserves are made on a small farm in Campania. We pick the fruit ourselves, in the cool early-morning hours, and process it within a few hours. Our fig jam contains 88 grams of fruit per 100 grams of product: the rest is cane sugar, lemon juice and an infusion of vanilla. No pectin, no thickeners, no preservatives. The thickness comes from slow, low-temperature vacuum cooking and from the fig skin, not from an additive.

In 2025 this way of working earned the Great Taste award and the WineHunter Award Gold at the Merano WineFestival. Both are blind judgements, given by panels who didn't know whose jar they were tasting. That is where the price of a jar, €7.90, comes from: the fruit, the processing and the time it takes.

How to choose the right hamper

If it's a small token, not a big present. The Kit Benvenuto with six jars at €34.90 comes with six separate little boxes and six small cards. You can turn it into six small gifts — for colleagues, for teachers, for neighbours — or keep it whole. For less than €6 per person, everyone gets a thoughtful gift, with its own box and its own card.

If the gift needs to make a statement. From €80 up, the package changes scale. The Kit Gran Riserva with twelve jars and the Kit Regalo Premium with eighteen are gifts you set down on the table and that get noticed. Nothing in here is bought in to fill the box: every jar comes out of our own kitchen.

If you don't know their tastes, go savoury. Not everyone has a sweet breakfast, while a jar of sun-dried tomatoes in oil or a pâté pleases everyone and ends up on the table that same evening. That's what you'll find in the Kit Benvenuto Salato, at €40.00. If you already know breakfast is their favourite moment, choose the Kit Dolce Risveglio, at €39.00: six jams, all sweet.

Shipping and Christmas delivery

We prepare every order by hand in 1 working day; then the courier delivers in 2 working days in Italy and in 5 in the rest of the European Union. In Italy shipping is free above €27; below that threshold it costs €5.00. In the rest of the European Union it is free above €35; below that it costs €7.90.

Last day to order and receive before Christmas: Thursday 10 December 2026. After that date we can't guarantee arrival before Christmas, and we'd rather tell you now.

If the glass breaks

Each jar travels individually protected. If one arrives broken, we resend it at no cost, without you having to send anything back: a photo is all we need. It's the only sensible thing to do when you ship glass, and we're surprised hardly anyone puts it in writing.

Frequently asked questions

Can the hamper be delivered directly to the person I'm giving it to?
Yes. At checkout, enter the recipient's address in the shipping field and yours in the billing field. We never put a receipt showing prices in the parcel.

Can I add a personal message?
Yes. Write it in the cart note before you go to payment, and we'll copy it out by hand on the card included.

How long do the preserves keep?
The best-before date is printed on every jar. Once opened, keep it in the fridge and eat it within 5-7 days depending on the product: there are no preservatives to protect it.

Can I put the hamper together by choosing the jars myself?
For the 6-jar kits you can tell us in the order notes how you'd like the little boxes split — for example two with one jar and two with two. For a completely free selection, write to us before ordering.

Are the products organic?
No, and we don't say they are. We don't have organic certification. We grow the fruit ourselves and don't use preservatives, but those are two different things and we don't want to confuse them.
